A woman missing for almost seven hours with her 18-month-old grandson has been found safe and well.
She took the child for a walk in Avonhead at 11.30am and has just been found in the nearby suburb of Riccarton.
Earlier police said they were "quite concerned, especially as she has
an 18-month-old baby with her".
Officers were out searching the streets of Christchurch and speaking to business owners in the Avonhead area to see if anyone had seen the pair.
