A person has died in a house fire in Christchurch.
Police, Fire and Ambulance are at a house in Woodhouse Street in Linwood where one person has died.
Police and a fire investigator are at the scene to investigate the fire.
A woman who died in a house fire in Christchurch last week has been identified by police.
She was 60-year-old Maree Patricia Cato.
Ms Cato died after a fire broke out on a Woodhouse St property in Linwood just before 2.15pm last Thursday, November 20.
Police said Ms Cato's deathhad been referred to the coroner.
Investigations into what caused the fire were continuing, police said.
