A woman has been killed in an accident near Gore yesterday.
Jennifer Emily Favel, 68, of Waikaka, near Gore, was killed when her car collided with a van at the intersection of State Highway 90 and Waikaka Road, near Maitland, 17km northeast of Gore.
Sergeant Craig Sinclair said Mrs Favelstopped at the intersection and gave way to a large truck on State Highway 90.
It appeared she failed to see a van following behind the truck and collided with is as she turned onto SH90.
