A woman has moderate injuries after being struck in the head with a screwdriver last night in Kāpiti.
The woman was assaulted near the Kāpiti Lights area about 9.20pm.
Her injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
A man was arrested for the alleged assault and will appear in court this
morning, police said.
