A woman was found dead in a bath at a North Taranaki care facility, police say.
The death at the home on State Highway 3 at Motunui on Saturday night has been referred to the coroner, reported Fairfax.
The woman was aged in her 60s.
Sergeant Kim Vollmer told Fairfax:
"One of the occupants was having a bath and for a short time she was left unattended."
CPR was performed on the woman for about 20 minutes.
