A woman has died following a crash in Levin tonight.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of State Highway 57 and Waihou Road.
Both cars had single occupants and the other driver was taken to Palmerston North hospital.
Cordons are in place around the scene and police have asked motorists
to avoid this area.
It is understood to be the third fatality on the roads this weekend following a man who died after a head on crash near Sanson on Saturday and motorcyclist who died after colliding with a ute in South Auckland tonight.
