A 32-year-old woman was granted interim name suppression when she appeared in Manukau District Court this afternoon charged with the murder of a baby.
One-year-old Terepo Taura-Griffiths - nicknamed "Popo'' - died after being taken to Middlemore Hospital in Auckland at 9.30pm on November 4.
A post-mortem examination revealed he
died from a fracture to the rear of his head and a massive brain bleed.
The woman was remanded in custody until Friday.
Police want to speak to anyone who had contact with Terepo or the couple who were caring for him between October 31 and November 4.
