A woman charged in connection with the taping of an elderly rest home resident's mouth was granted interim name suppression when she appeared in Auckland District Court today.
The 60-year-old did not plead to a charge of assaulting a resident, whose name is also suppressed, at Belhaven RestHome in the Auckland suburb of Epsom.
The woman was bailed to reappear in the court on August 6, Radio New Zealand reported.
