A cyclist left with serious brain injuries after she was run over by a trailer has been transferred to a head injury clinic.
The woman was in a coma after the incident late last year but has recently improved.
"She is not talking but she is able to communicate with
small verbal responses," serious crash investigator Constable Mark Rodgers said.
"Her health has improved but in terms of recovery she still has months, if not years, in front of her."
Police were still seeking witnesses to the incident on the corner of the Strand and Quay St in September.
