Win a spot on the Herald Santa Parade float! T&C's

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is free and open to residents of New Zealand aged between 7 and 12 years of age.

3. The winners must be available from 11am to 3pm on Parade Day (Sunday, November 29 2015) and on the Parade rain date (Sunday, December 6, 2015).

4. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this promotion or any part of this promotion should their ability to fulfil due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure.

5. To enter the promotion, entrants must provide their full name, current and valid email address, New Zealand residential postal address, and phone number ("Eligible Entrants").

6. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

7. Promotion will finish at 5pm on Monday, November 23, 2015 ("Promotional Period").

8. The winners will be notified by telephone or email. If the winner is unable to be contacted by 5pm on the Wednesday following the announcement, a new winner will be drawn.

9. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a ride on the float, his or her details (including name, suburb/town) may be published by the promoters for publicity purposes.

10. Each of the winners will 'win' two spots on the Herald Santa Parade float - one (1) for them, and one (1) for a friend of their choosing. The chosen friend must also be between the ages of 7 and 12 years.

11. Each of the winners riding on the float will receive a specially designed t-shirt that they will get to keep after the Santa Parade.

12. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash.

14. The New Zealand Herald is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
