Save Firefighters in Auckland have been called out six times overnight because of the wild weather, including to a tree that fell into a property.
Heavy rain and wind battered the city overnight.
Fire Service northern communications shift manager Jaron Phillips says fire crews were called out to a couple of
leaking roofs and trees down on roads.
"Probably the most serious incident last night was where a tree had fallen into a house at a property in Panmure," he says
Mr Phillips understands no one was hurt when the tree smashed onto a fence and then hit the garage of the house.
