The heavily pregnant wife of Warriors star James Maloney was rushed to hospital this week.
Jessica Maloney, whose second child is due in six weeks, spent several days in Auckland City Hospital after experiencing contractions.
Warriors standoff James Maloney had to rush back from Whangarei where he was playing a
trial match last weekend. "It wasn't too serious," he said. "She just had some contractions when I was up at Whangarei so she went in because she is not due for another six weeks.
"She went into hospital for a couple of days. They gave her a couple of doses of steroids in case the bub was to come out.
"They monitored her. Now it's a case of waiting for the bub to come."
