What is the 'coolest' brand in New Zealand?

According to a poll taken in the UK, Apple is the 'coolest' brand followed closely by Netflix.

The list for 2015/16 consisted of 20 contenders that were voted on by 2,500 consumers and a panel of 36 "key influencers" including musicians Ella Eyre and Labrinth.

Ray-Ban was ranked second after Apple, followed by Glastonbury music festival, Nike and Netflix in fifth place.

Luxury clothing brand, Alexander McQueen, took out sixth place, then Instagram, Chanel and YouTube ranking as ninth.

Aston Martin was the only brand of car that made the list a long with airline Virgin Atlantic.

Whole Foods Market, an organic supermarket made the list in 15th place next to Bang & Olufsen electronics.

Voters were asked to consider a range of factors such as style, authenticity, innovation, originality, desirability and uniqueness.

The list included a mix of contenders and Royal Albert Hall, arguably made famous by Adele, also made the list.

Liberty, a West End department store was ranked in last place.
