Police are hunting for a man in connection with a case in which a young girl was allegedly forced to take P and sexually violated on a number of occasions.
Police say Dion Thompson is a 42-year-old West Aucklander, who has gang associations and Black Power tattoos, including one like
a bird's wings on his forehead and the words "Paremoremo, B Block" across his throat.
Detective Sergeant Megan Goldie said Thompson was due to meet police to discuss the allegations against him but failed to show up.
As a result, the courts have now issued a warrant for his arrest.
Thompson is facing 13 charges in connection with the sexual violations and indecencies on the girl.
Two of the charges relate to allegations that he gave the girl pure methamphetamine, the drug commonly known as P.
Thompson's last address was in West Auckland but he is known to have contacts in South Auckland and Northland.
Thompson was seen on different occasions driving a black Mitsubishi Pajero, Silver Galant and Silver Diamante, Ms Goldie said.
