Why can we sometimes see the moon during the day?
For the same reason we see the moon at night.
The sun
shines on the moon and we see the brightened part.
The moon orbits Earth about every 28 days (the word month comes from the word moonth).
The Earth rotates every day and we see the Moon in a slightly different part of its orbit each day.
Sometimes we see it at night, sometimes during day and night, and sometimes during the day.
We do not always notice it in the daylight sky because the sun is so much brighter that it makes the moon's brightness difficult to see.
