The top five ideas to challenge the controversial 'Wellywood' sign have been unveiled, and will now be put to a public vote.
The ideas are Te Capital, a fun take on the fact Wellington is the proud capital of a country with two major cultures.

The Taniwha Whataitai using special paint that changes colour when you move past it.
The eye of Taniwha Whataitai. The eyeball will move with the wind, keeping a watch on the harbour, and five coloured umbrellas blowing away aptly named 'Wellington's lost umbrellas'.
