Young boy critically injured after falling out of tree in Upper Hutt park

Save A child has been critically injured after falling out of a tree in an Upper Hutt park last night.
It’s understood the young boy was at Awakairangi Park during a game of touch rugby when the incident happened.
Police said they were called to the incident at Totara Park Rd
at 4.55pm where a person had suffered a fall.
Wellington Free Ambulance also attended and took one patient to Wellington Hospital in a critical condition.
Police said inquiries into the circumstances of the incident were ongoing.
