One person is seriously injured after a serious two-vehicle crash near Upper Hutt.
Police said they were called to the crash about 6.35pm at the intersection of SH2 and Waterworks Rd, Kaitoke.
One person has been seriously injured.
Police said the road is blocked at the intersection, which will likelycause significant delays in both directions, urging motorists to avoid the area if possible.
