Police release new images of missing 25-year-old Wellington woman Alisha

Alisha was last seen around midday on Wednesday, August 27.

Police in Wellington have released new pictures of a missing 25-year-old woman.

The CCTV footage is from Lambton Quay, where Alisha was last seen around midday on Wednesday.

Police believe she may have travelled to the Karori area, specifically near Richmond Ave and Wrights Hill.

Residents have been asked to check their CCTV footage or dashcams and their backyards because it’s believed she might have discarded some items that could assist in locating her.

A post shared on Instagram by her friends yesterday said she was last seen about 1pm near the cable car.

A teenager who also went missing in the Wellington region this week, 14-year-old Emily, has since been found.

Police said there had been concerns for her well-being, and it had been important that she be returned home.

A statement on Wellington District Police’s Facebook page said: “The 14-year-old girl reported missing from the Porirua area has been located safe and well”.
