A person has been hit by a bus in central Wellington.
Police said Willis St around the Lambton Quay and Mercer St areas is blocked after the crash this morning.
“Police were notified of the crash, involving a bus and a pedestrian, around 10am. Initial indicators are that the pedestrianhas moderate injuries. Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible, and expect delays,” police said in a statement.
