A person has died from injuries suffered in a crash early on Sunday morning in Wellington.
The crash happened on February 8 at the Ngauranga Interchange on State Highway 2. Emergency services were notified of the crash around 2am.
Police said an investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
The crash closed SH2 for several hours on Sunday, with the NZ Transport Agency warning around 6am that the northbound lanes of the motorway were still shut.
The serious crash unit was on scene and drivers were told to take detours.
