One person dead after late-night single vehicle crash closes SH59 at Paekākāriki

One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Wellington region.

One person has died following an overnight crash in Paekākāriki.

The single-vehicle crash on State Highway 59, formerly SH1, near Onepu St was reported at 11.30pm, police said.

SH59 was closed overnight while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination, and re-opened a short time ago.
