Wellington woman injured after crashing into bank

A woman was seriously injured after crashing her car into a bank south of Te Kuiti.

The 68-year-old from Wellington suffered various head, limb and abdominal injuries in yesterday's crash.

The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed at Mapiu School where they stabilised her before flying her to Waikato Hospital.
