Wellington tunnel cleared after seven-car pile-up

Wellington's Terrace tunnel has been cleared after a seven-car pile-up this afternoon.

There was a three-car pile-up just after 3pm, and a few minutes later four cars were involved in a crash going the other way, police spokesman Mike Coleman told NZPA.

No one was hurt and traffic was moving through the tunnel again.
