A Wellington highway has reopened after a truck crash closed the key road into the city for more than an hour this morning.
Wellington commuters were warned to expect disruptions this morning after a truck and car collided on State Highway 58 blocking the road.
Police say the early morningcrash on the highway linking Hutt Valley to Porirua left two injured and the road closed.

A police spokeswoman said two people were injured in the accident. One person suffered moderate injuries and the second escaped with minor injuries.
