One person is trapped behind the steering wheel, after a crash in Wellington.

The intersection of Bracken Road and Kahikatea Grove in Paparangi is blocked by the accident.

A police spokesperson said they had no current information on injuries of those involved.

Officers at the scene are directing traffic.
