Save Thick fog affecting Wellington airport and other parts of the city is not expected to lift until tomorrow morning, MetService says.
The fog, which has cancelled all remaining domestic flights in and out of Wellington Airport for the evening, rolled in this evening.
MetService meteorologist David Miller said it had
drifted in from Cook Strait and was not expected to clear until tomorrow morning.
A Wellington Airport spokesman said six incoming flights and five departing flights had been cancelled.
Most were either heading to or coming from Auckland or Christchurch.
