ARIES: (March 21 to April 20)
Motivation may be difficult to muster early in the weekend, but by Sunday you will be impatient and eager to try something new. Opt for some quiet time before letting your hair down and taking a risk.

TAURUS: (April 21 to May 21)
Your
opinions will hold a lot of weight and others are likely to look up to you. You may feel as if you have extra responsibilities weighing heavily, but your decision-making and leadership skills will be exemplary.

GEMINI: (May 22 to June 21)
If you feel overwhelmed or frustrated, ride through these emotions and pledge to take on less on the days ahead. You must also avoid absorbing the problems of others, especially if you are powerless to help.

CANCER: (June 22 to July 23)
Moon in the clever part of your chart combines with Sun in your sign to provide an almost telepathic ability to read situations. Use this gift wisely when assessing others or working out what is truly important.

LEO: (July 24 to August 23)
Your desire to reverse a negative trend gets a kick along from Venus and Mercury in your sign. Self-belief coupled with upbeat energy helps bring about change in an area of life that is long overdue for improvement.

VIRGO: (August 24 to September 23)
Someone may try to get the better of you, but indications are you will be one step ahead and already planning your next move. You are more likely to view obstacles as challenges and surprises as special gifts.

LIBRA: (September 24 to October 23)
If you can clarify your most urgent goals, you will avoid frittering away energy and can put plans in place for the immediate future. In the context of close relationships, there may be hidden secrets or lies.

SCORPIO: (October 24 to November 22)
The energy around your sign is affectionate and even though your expectations of others may be a little high, most of your needs will be met. Avoid withholding information, your true feelings or praise for loved ones.

SAGITTARIUS: (November 23 to December 22)
You may be hesitant to accept a challenge or invitation, but curiosity or a desire to please will be the deciding factor. The less you look forward to something, the more likely you are to enjoy it.

CAPRICORN: (December 23 to January 20)
Remember that you answer only to yourself and not the values of others. Someone may to manipulate you or take advantage of your good nature, but forewarned is forearmed and you should simply say no this weekend.

AQUARIUS: (January 21 to February 19)
You may suddenly see an old problem from a fresh perspective and a burden will be lifted as you find a resolution. Your enthusiasm is likely to be infectious this weekend, prompting others to follow your lead.

PISCES: (February 20 to March 20)
Seek out people with mutual interests or ideals and avoid those who constantly press all the wrong buttons. Discernment is the key this weekend, whether you apply it to how you spend your time, money or energy.

SATURDAY

YOUR DAY
Sun and Moon in family-oriented signs favour mixing in familiar company and staying close to home turf. The energy is sensible but sympathetic and there is little chance people will take each other for granted. Avoid getting bogged down in detail today and steer clear of emotionally charged situations or petty arguments. Work on creative projects or enjoy gentle pastimes.

YOUR BIRTHDAY
If you have been feuding with someone or are frustrated with a lack of personal progress, now is the perfect time to reassess your needs and options. You are entering a soul-searching period and in the months ahead you will learn some useful lessons about yourself and others.

SUNDAY

YOUR DAY
There may be some last-minute changes to plans or more comings and goings than expected today. However, variety is the key to happiness and spontaneous suggestions or invitations should be embraced. Some people may be tempted to fib in order to save face or keep the peace, but honesty in the best bet in all relationships and situations.

YOUR BIRTHDAY
Once you accept responsibility for the state of a relationship or your personal affairs, you will make fantastic progress. The key is to be business-like and make ruthless decisions rather than going along with a situation just to keep the peace. Push the envelope this year.
