Weather washes polo tournament away

Taking a break from the wet weather to face the camera at the Wellington- Wairarapa Polo Club's tournament at Matahiwi on Saturday are Ruki Baillieu (mounted) and Daniel Klingender. Both have wide international experience with Baillieu being one of the highest-rated players in Australia and Klingender having repped for New Zealand in Peru and Chile. The latter was captain of the Wairarapa team which chalked up a win and a loss before the tournament was washed out.Plans are for it to be restaged within the next few weeks.
