Marist Old Boys seconds claimed an easy victory over arch rivals Lansdowne seconds in their open grade fixture played at the Park Sportsground.
Lansdowne batted first and reached 191-7.Top scorer was Nathan Robinson with 45
A 140-run partnership for the third wicket between A. Stephen (95) and Chris Jones (51 not out) paved the way for the Old Boys' win, the target being reached after 36.1 overs with just three wickets down.
Meanwhile, Wairarapa have accumulated just two points after the opening two series of matches in the zone two Hawke Cup qualifying competition.
Hawke's Bay, who Wairarapa meet next weekend, lead with 20 points, followed by Manawatu 17, Taranaki 7, Wanganui 7, Wairarapa 2 and Horowhenua-Kapiti 1.
