Police fear for missing man's safety

Police fear for the safety of a man with a kidney disorder who was last seen in Huntly nearly four weeks ago.

Nathan Tukiri, a 27-year-old father of two and sickness beneficiary, has not been seen since he stormed out of his aunt's house in Semple St on June 24.

Sergeant Len Fox, of Huntly, said police were appealing to farmers around the central North Island to check their creeks, drains, barns and outhouses in case Mr Tukiri had came to grief somewhere.
