Warrant issued for missing Chinese man

Auckland police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 23-year-old Chinese man who failed to appear in court over kidnapping and assault charges.

Yao Lu, also known as Lok Yao, is is known to spend a lot of time in casinos, police said.

He is described about 174cm tall, of thin build and with straight black hair.

Yao Lu is a Chinese national, possibly from the province of ChungHing, but is known to have contacts in Nanning City, Guangxi.
