Walker shifted from intensive care

Top jockey Michael Walker has been moved out of intensive care in Auckland City Hospital, his riding agent, Aidan Rodley, said last night.

He said Walker had been moved to a high-dependency unit at the hospital.

"He's still in a pretty serious condition."

Walker, 24, suffered severe head injuries last weekend when he fell down a bluff in north Taranaki while pig hunting.
