She was worried by the delay in informing the public, but felt supermarkets were doing their best.
"The only thing I'm worried about would be that they didn't tell us in November, but I guess if it was a concern they would've let us know."

Jan Peacock said she was not really worried by the scare, although her granddaughter of eight weeks, Mikayla, was being fed infant formula.
"It would have to be someone working inside the factory. Of course there's always going to be concerns when someone says something like that."

Alicia Williams said her 5-month-old son, Corban, normally had a sachet of formula in the evening, which she was not able to purchase as it had been pulled from shelves.
"I don't think I'd be too worried unless I could see it had been tampered with."
