Wairarapa College in premier final

Wairarapa College are through to the grand final of Netball Wairarapa's premier one competition.
Despite having just returned from playing at the Lower North Island secondary schools tournament in New Plymouth they scored a 39-30 win over Harcourts College in the major semi-final at the Genesis Recreation Centre on Friday night
The two teams could meet again in the grand final though with Collegiate getting a second bite at the cherry when they play St Matthews College next weekend.
St Matthews, who also contested the Lower North Island tourney, eliminated Newbolds All Blacks from the championship by winning their minor semi-final, also played at the recreation centre on Friday evening, by 44-40.
In the only other premier one game played over the weekend Greytown edged out Celtic Marist 50-48.
