The Duckworth Lewis system came into play in the Greytown v Red Star match with rain causing four overs to be lost. It led to Greytown's total being increased from 189 to 194 and Red Star coming up just three runs short of victory, their total being raised to 191.
An unbeaten 35 from Ben Foster, made from 34 balls and including one 4, highlighted the Greytown innings while Robbie Speers (28) and Paul Lyttle (27) also made handy contributions. Bowling for Red Star Tane Workman took 3-37 .
Red Star's batting effort was dominated by Troy Burling and Zac Caldwell. Burling's 51 came from 84 balls and included one 4 while Caldwell's 50 came from 60 balls and included two 4s and one 6. Foster completed an excellent double for Greytown by taking 3-31 from his six overs.
