Wainuiomata missing girl, 12, found

A 12-year-old Wainuiomata girl who had been missing since Saturday has been found.

Police had concerns for the girl and asked that anyone who saw her contacted Wellington police.

They advised this afternoon that the girl had been found "safe and well".

"We'd like to thank the public for their assistance," police said.

A second girl, 14, thought to have been with the 12-year-old was located last night.
