A Waikato teenager had a lucky escape with his bike helmet saving his life when he was dragged along the road under a truck.
Kaleb was riding on Victoria Street in central Hamilton around a month ago when a truck turned in front of him.
He was hit and draggedalong the road under the truck.
In a video posted on the Waikato Police Facebook page, an officer named Jack said Kaleb was lucky to survive.
His helmet had taken a "bit of a beating", Jack said, but his head was okay.
