Waikato police are looking for a Waikeria Prison inmate who escaped earlier today.
Thomas Harris was reported missing from the prison shortly before 7am.
The 24-year-old is described as being 1.7m tall with brown hair cut in a "number two" style.
Harris was jailed for two-and-a-half-years in June
