Waikato death not suspicious - police

A man who was found dead in his Cambridge home died of natural causes, police say.

Detective Sergeant Mike Whitehead said police had done a scene investigation and there had been a post-mortem examination.

He said Peter George Robinson, 63, died of natural causes.

Mr Whitehead said the death had been referred to the coroner.

"At this point it is appropriate that we thank all those who assisted police in their inquiries while carrying out our preliminary examinations of the scenes and we would like to pass on our condolences to Mr Robinson's family," Mr Whitehead said.
