A dairy owner was allegedly threatened by three robbers with weapons who then led police on a pursuit through the Waikato.
Three people entered the Waihou dairy about 6.40pm last night and allegedly threatened the owner with weapons before stealing cigarettes and a phone, police said.
The three then fled the scene in a car driven by a fourth offender, police say.
Police found the car a short time later on State Highway 27 near Matamata and road spikes were used to stop it when the driver refused to pull over.
The offenders jumped out of the car and ran away through farmland.
A police dog unit tracked one of the offenders to a nearby house.
A 19-year-old man was arrested in relation to the aggravated robbery and will appear in court today.
Police are still searching for the other three offenders.
