Police confirmed a report was made about the incident but said they did not attend the scene and were not aware of any injuries.

A staff member at a nearby Mercedes-Benz dealership said they had not seen the collision, but others at the business had heard it.
Holly, who did not want to give her surname, was travelling on a bus in the opposite lane shortly after the crash.
She said the crash “looked pretty bad” and had caused a traffic backlog heading into Epsom as the school rush was beginning.

Edward, who also drove past after the accident and did not want to give their surname, said people seemed to be in shock.
“What was running through my head is like, okay, if that’s a test drive, what’s the insurance on that?

“For most of us in New Zealand, that’s a house or it’s a lifetime of savings type of thing.”
While Edward said it was a nice-looking car, “Ferraris should be red”.
