Upper Hutt police search for missing woman Anita Hart

Police want to hear from anyone who may have information about missing Upper Hutt woman Anita Hart.

Police are appealing for more information about an Upper Hutt woman who went missing last week.

Search and Rescue teams began looking for Anita Hart, 61, last Thursday after her car was found on Gillespies Rd.

Detective Sergeant Annalise Ferguson said police and a variety of search and rescue groups have been extensively searching the Birchville area.

“Unfortunately, Anita has not been located,” she said.

“We are urging anyone has CCTV or dashcam footage that may help us to please come forward.”

Ferguson said police were particularly interested in the Gillespies Rd, Bridge Rd, Gemstone Dr and Akatarawa Rd areas, “down to Harcourt Park, between 11.25am and 1pm on Wednesday November 12”.

Anita was last seen wearing a blue beanie with a pompom, a blue jacket, and dark-coloured trousers.

Hart was last seen wearing a blue beanie with a pompom, a blue jacket and dark-coloured trousers.

“Anyone with information that could help, please call 111 and quote reference number P064438940,” Ferguson said.
