Traffic lights are now working at a busy West Auckland intersection, after being out for more than eight hours.
The outage led to major snarl-ups earlier today at a busy west Auckland intersection.
Police said lights went out at the intersection of Great North Rd and Rosebank Rd in Avondale
after a crash wiped out the control box.
Police were directing traffic, but significant delays were reported in the area.
The lights went out after the crash around 6.30am today.
