Union accuses Air NZ of attack on pay, conditions

The Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union says a proposal by Air New Zealand to outsource services is an attempt to cut workers' pay and conditions.

Union representatives are in talks with the airline about the future of staff after Air NZ said last year that it planned to outsource the work of 1700 workers.

Talks with the Service and Food Workers Union, which also represents some of the airline's staff, are scheduled for this week.
