A person has died after being pulled from the water in Taupō.
Emergency services were called to Whakamoenga Pt, Acacia Bay, about 3.20pm on Sunday after a person was pulled from the water unconscious.
“Despite best efforts by those at the scene, the person died,” police said.
The death has
been referred to the coroner.
