Two teens charged with robbery after petrol station heist

Two teenagers are facing court after a Pahiatua petrol station was held up at knifepoint on Sunday night.

Manawatu Acting Area Commander Inspector Dave White said an 18-year-old male and 16-year-old had been arrested and charged with the aggravated robbery of the BP service station.

The older teen was due to appear in the Palmerston North District Court later today.

The16-year-old was due in the city's Youth Court.

White said police were continuing to support to the victims of the robbery and thanked members of the public for their help.
