Save A two-storey house in residential Porirua was engulfed in flames this morning.
Firefighters were called to Mungavin Avenue between Porirua East and Cannons Creek about 11.10am.
The house was "well involved" when the team got there, Fire Service spokeswoman Jan Wills said.
The blaze had been extinguished but firefighters were
still on site to ensure it was completely out, she said.
No details about how much damage occurred were available, she said.
