Wellington police are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the Kapiti Coast that has left two people seriously injured.
Two cars collided on Old State Highway 1 in Raumati South just before 8am.
Two people are being treated at Wellington Hospital, including one who is in intensive care.
Officers
would especially like to hear from the driver of a truck who narrowly avoided a collision with a silver Volkswagen Golf on Old State Highway 1 shortly before the incident.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
