Two people have been seriously injured following a crash in New Plymouth.

Emergency services were called to the crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Mangorei Rd at 4.20pm.

The road is currently blocked and diversions are being put in place.

A St John spokeswoman said two people are in a serious condition.
